Release Date
Cronus Zen: 2019 in beta - Officially: May 2020.
Titan Two: Has been released since 2017 in form of beta - Officially: Jan 2018 (Jun 2019)
PS5 Compatibility:
Cronus Zen: YES, BUT NOT DIRECTLY. The Cronus Zen supports PS5 Games, only with an authentication controller. It also does support the direct approach, however you will have to create a script for auto reconnection. Collective Minds (Developers of the Zen) offers a 'PS5 Dongle' for $39,99, which will act as an authentication controller.
Titan Two: YES, (SUPPORTS BOTH PARTIAL AND FULL CROSSOVER). The Titan Two supports PS5 Games both with an authentication controller, but also directly. If you are playing directly, it will disconnect every 7-8 minutes (This is due to PS5 checking for authentication to determine if the controller being used is licensed or not.)
Note for PS5 Compatibility: Both devices are only compatible with games that allow PS4 Speciality controllers. (For example, neither device currently support Call of Duty: Vanguard PS5 Version.)
Xbox Series X Compatibility:
Both devices support the new Xbox consoles.
Full PS4 Crossover support, with no PS4-authentication controller
Cronus Zen: NO and probably never. That would be illegal, as Cronus does not allow it's users to manually modify their devices.
Titan Two: YES, BUT NOT DIRECTLY. (Requires a microSD card). To do this you must download and install a file to your Titan Two manually. This file is called ps4auth.key. The reason it is not included by default is because it would be illegal. If you own a Titan Two, this file is available on ConsoleTuner's Discord channel, and instructions are also available. (Also works on PS5, if you're playing PS4-games)
Zen GPC Compatible?
What is Zen GPC?
It's a GPC Script with OLED screen support. I'ts not officially called 'Zen GPC' (They just call it GPC).
Cronus Zen: YES, The Cronus Zen is the only GPC device that supports the OLED GPC Scripts.
Titan Two: NO, Converting the scripts is a possibility. However there are no tools to convert GPC scripts that has OLED support. Therefore the conversion must be manual and requires GPC knowledge.
GPC(1) Compatible?
Cronus Zen: YES, DIRECTLY. backwards compatible with CronusMAX PLUS and Titan One scripts. The GPC Scripting Cronus Zen uses has been upgraded and has more features than CMP scripting and T1 scripting. (Mostly for the OLED Screen, but there are other new stuff in there as well)
Titan Two: YES, BUT NOT DIRECTLY. There are tools to convert CronusMAX PLUS and Titan One GPC to GPC2. However if Zen specific GPC is being used, then conversion is not possible with tools, and must be done Manually.
GPC2 Compatible?
Cronus Zen: NO, Converting some of the GPC2 scripts is a possibility. However there are no tools to convert GPC2 scripts that has GPC2-Exclusive feautures. Therefore the conversion must be manual and requires both GPC and GPC2 knowledge.
Titan Two: YES, It is also backwards compatible with Titan One/CMP scripts after conversion (with tools or manually)
Steering Wheel Support
Cronus Zen: YES, (PS4 & PS5 Support Only) (Zen's Wheel Mode does NOT Support Xbox Consoles. Collective Minds sells another product for this) Converting your old racing wheel to work on PS4 and PS5 is possible with the Cronus Zen. Supports Logitech DFGT, G25, G27, and a large range of Fanatec wheels.
Titan Two: YES, (PS4, PS5-Partially, XB1 & Series X|S Supported) (Xbox One, Series X|S does not have FFB support yet). Converting your old racing wheels to work on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S is possible with the Titan Two. Supports Logitech Driving Force, Driving Force Pro, DFGT, G25, G27, G29 and more Steering Wheels.
Input Response Time (Input Lag)
Cronus Zen: ~4.5ms (wired). Collective Minds claim that they use the same technology that they use in the Collective Minds Tournament Stick (The same data transport engine that is being used in the CM Tournament Stick) This is based on data provided by BattleBeaver's website. Furthermore, the 4.5ms is an average input response time. The data we have for the Cronus Zen is limited. The 4.5ms input lag is based on data from the CM Tournament Stick device. Which uses more or less the same technology as the Cronus Zen. The actual input lag is unknown, but based on the data, it is 4.5ms on average.
From https://cronusmax.com/faq/
"The processing power of the Zen is exponentially more powerful than that of its predecessor, the CronusMAX PLUS, and features a new data transport engine that is currently featured in another device we provide to every professional team in the Call of Duty League and World Championships."
Titan Two: ~50µs ↔ 250µs (wired). This means that the Input Lag is less than 1ms. However this is the theoretical input response time and we have no data on the average input response time.
